Only approved caregivers with current recorded credentials and screening appear in the available-caregiver directory.
Care Now is being built with clearer profiles, responsible information sharing, and Care Now oversight at the center of the experience.
Review status, platform support, and clearer expectations for both sides.
Keep private details out of public requestsCare Now separates what should be public, what should be private, and what should be reviewed.
Only approved caregivers with current recorded credentials and screening appear in the available-caregiver directory.
Families can review offered services, experience, availability, and general location before reaching out.
Credential uploads are private. Files can be accessed only by their owner and authorized Care Now reviewers.
Both participants confirm arrival and completion. Reports of lateness, no-shows, and poor service are reviewed by Care Now. Following review, confirmed incidents may reduce the rating: a no-show by 0.5 stars, lateness by 0.1, or poor service by 0.3. A report alone does not change the rating. No financial penalty applies.
Our onboarding review covers government-issued photo ID, a mandatory current profile photo that matches the ID, CPR and first aid, caregiver training, Med-Tech certification, completed background screening, and reference checks. Clinical services are outside this initial launch.
Caregivers submit their credentials through a signed-in application.
Authorized reviewers confirm documents and record screening and reference checks. Uploading a file never marks it verified.
Incomplete reviews cannot be approved. Expired credentials or a suspension remove marketplace eligibility.
Stripe payout onboarding is separate from Care Now approval. Payment setup does not replace care screening.
Public care requests should describe the kind of support needed without including diagnoses, insurance details, identification numbers, or other sensitive medical information.
The Care Now team is available when you need help understanding the process.
